Undergraduate Digital Experience Project

About the Project

We’re working on a campus wide effort to make your digital learning experience at MSU smoother, simpler, and more supportive.

From D2L to textbook software to the many tools you use every day, we want to understand what’s working—and what’s not. By listening to students and studying the full digital journey, we’ll identify the biggest challenges getting in the way of your success and recommend improvements that can make a real difference.

Your feedback will help shape future changes to MSU’s digital learning ecosystem, including how tools look, feel, and function across your time as an undergraduate.

Data Analysis

Once surveys and focus groups wrap up, our team will dig into everything you’ve shared. We’ll look for:

  • Common challenges
  • Helpful bright spots
  • Patterns and trends
  • Areas where we still need more info

The goal: clearly understand what students experience and what matters most.

Project Team Review

Our group of subject matter experts will review the findings and map out next steps—always using the student voice as our guide.

Fall Survey (Tentative)

We may run one final survey in the fall to close any gaps or answer lingering questions. This lets us make recommendations that are strong, informed, and student centered.

Future Recommendations

At the end of the project, we’ll deliver a set of recommendations to Undergraduate Education and MSU IT. These suggestions—driven by your feedback—will outline how to make the digital learning ecosystem more consistent, accessible, and user friendly for all students.
