Pathways Persistence Programs
At Michigan State University, the Pathways Persistence Programs create an affirming and dynamic network of student support. We help Spartans persist, thrive, and graduate by reducing barriers, fostering community, and providing high-impact experiences like mentoring, career development, and living-learning communities.
Rooted in equity, we work to close opportunity gaps and ensure that all students have the resources they need to succeed. This work supports the MSU 2030 Strategic Plan.
The Bailey Scholars Program is a unique opportunity to learn through community. It is a program of possibility and potential, where we aid you in your pursuit of your learning interests.
Academic and social support services to incoming MSU students (US Residents-Only), who want to pursue a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) major.
First-Generation Leadership and Innovation (FLI) Vanderploeg Scholars program provides first-generation college students at MSU with access to opportunities to develop leadership skills and become innovators in their chosen field.
RISE is an interdisciplinary living-learning program focused on sustainability and environmental stewardship.

TRIO SSS aims to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can access the resources they need.
