Jorhie Beadle

Dr. Beadle currently serves as the interim director of RISE. In this role, she supports Spartans developing their identities as environmental and sustainability scholars through experiential learning opportunities, interdisciplinary courses, and community building. Her work focuses primarily on sustainable food systems, undergraduate student development, and decision-making of leaders. Jorhie enjoys working with students at Bailey GREENhouse and Urban Farm and biking around MSU's beautiful campus.

Collaborating with other student success professionals

The pawpaw grove at Bailey Greenhouse and Urban Farm. Despite being just outside a busy residence hall, this small grove of trees feels like a peaceful respite.

Your major is not your career- there are lots of ways to think about your college credentials.

MSU (undergrad and doctorate); Iowa State (MS). Most notable about my undergraduate experience at MSU: the experiential learning opportunities. There wasn't a week that I wasn't at the Student Organic Farm, Bailey Greenhouse and Urban Farm, or in the horticulture greenhouses getting my hands dirty.
