The First-Generation Student Success Project team is seeking faculty and staff who identify as having been first-generation college students. First-generation college students are defined as those students whose parents/guardians have not completed a bachelor’s degree. The project team is working on a series of efforts to address the opportunity gaps for first-generation students at MSU as part of MSU’s recent designation as a First-gen Forward Institution.

Incorporating faculty/staff voices and experiences as first-generation college students into these efforts is key. If you were a first-generation student, we would like to collect some contact information and find out how you may want to be connected to first-generation student success at MSU. We also want to give you a first-generation button and door tag for your office to show support for the upcoming First-Generation Celebration the week of November 8th. Please take five minutes to complete this brief survey to get connected!
