The last 15 months have stretched and strained us all in ways that we never could have imagined.

For the last two months I have been encouraging – insisting, really – my colleagues to make time for themselves and their families and friends this summer. The last 15 months have stretched and strained us all in ways that we never could have imagined. We got through it together, and we are looking forward to a fall semester learning and working together again on campus.

Since I have been insisting that other lean back when they are able this summer, I’m going to take my own advice. This month’s contribution to the student success newsletter is therefore brief by design!

I look forward to seeing you in-person in all three dimensions instead of just on my computer screen. Until then, I hope you make time for yourself and have a safe and restful summer.
