April 2022 Action Items and Resources for Students

The following email was sent to all MSU undergraduates and contains action items and resources. It is reposted here for your convenience.

Dear Spartans,

Happy April! It is hard to believe the semester is almost over. It seems like we just welcomed everyone back to campus yesterday. For those graduating, we wish you the best of success on your future endeavors — remember to finish strong. For those returning next fall, finish strong this semester, enjoy your summer and we look forward to seeing you back in August. As always, we have some notable opportunities and items to advise you on this month.

1) Take care of yourself and others:

  • Stay up to date on the latest COVID-19 mandates by visiting our Together We Will website.
  • Preparing for finals or graduation can be a stressful time of year. Be sure to check out our master list of stress-busting wellbeing and mental health resources.
  • As you plan for summer, if you need professional help moving or storing your belongings, Two Men and a Truck have partnered with MSU and specialize in campus moving and storage services.

2) Engage in your academic experience:

3) Find your way and make connections:

  • Check out the wide variety of IM Sports activities available, including basketball, golf, soccer, badminton and so much more.
  • Stop by the Career Services Network Career Exploration Center in Suite 113 of the Student Services Building, noon-4 p.m., daily, to meet informally with a Career Services Network team member.
  • The MSU Science Festival is a free annual celebration of science. From astronomy to music, and chemistry to microbiology, scientists and educators across the state share the wonder of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics, April 1-30.
  • How do you use MSU’s campus to live, work and study? MSU is revising its facilities and land use plan, the road map for any future demolition, construction, or alterations to campus. Use this interactive map to share your feedback by April 22: comap.sasaki.com/msu

4) Get involved outside the classroom:

5) Connect with important resources:

6) Billing and financial aid:

Be sure your student account is paid in full to ensure you will not have a financial hold preventing enrollment for summer or fall 2022 semesters.

If you have any questions about anything related to MSU, please email studentaffairs@msu.edu.

Thank you for your academic efforts, your help in keeping campus safe and for reading this email. We hope you have a wonderful April.

Sincerely,
