LTC Jason O. DeGeorge is the Chairperson for the Department of Military Science and the MS IV Instructor. He is a Distinguished Military Graduate from Minnesota State University ROTC, commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in May of 2001 into the Aviation Branch. He is a Master Aviator with over 16 years of experience in Army and Special Operations. He has served in multiple positions from PL through CO CDR, BN XO and S3. He served as Service Chief Fellow with the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) in 2014. In 2015, he was selected for the Joint Special Operations Master of Arts Program with National Defense University. In the spring of 2017, he became the Professor of Military Science at MSU. He has over nine combat deployments and multiple operational deployments across the globe.
