Michele Burton
Operations Manager and MAU Budget Officer

Michele Burton has more than 25 years of experience at MSU. Prior to joining the APUE team, Michele worked for eight years in the Language Pod in the College of Arts & Letters as the business manager. She also worked in different capacities in the College of Human Medicine for 20 years, including 11 years as the MAU Budget Officer.
Michele is currently serving as the Operations Manager and MAU Budget Officer for the Office of the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education (APUE) and Dean of Undergraduate Studies at Michigan State University. Michele is responsible for the oversight of the budgeting, accounting, and human resources operations of the MAU including five units; Aerospace, Migrant Student Services, Military Science, Neighborhood Student Success Collaborative, and Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities.
