As freshman seminars abroad (FSA) coordinator, Paul Brown co-creates innovative and engaging programs with MSU faculty and staff that take first-year students to places around the world, exploring a variety of topics and themes.  He also contributes to the growing FSA brand by sharing the impact of its programs through regularly-published assessment reports and marketing efforts.

Prior to joining the APUE team, Brown worked in the development offices of various Chicago-based nonprofits. He earned two bachelor’s degrees—one in social work and another in Spanish—from Michigan State University, and he received his master’s degree in social work from the University of Chicago.
