The Marathon of Majors is a great opportunity for students to meet college and major advisors and learn about potential majors and academic support services.

“What’s your major?” is the one of the most common questions college students are asked and also one of the questions that has become harder for students to answer.  With so many different choices out there, it is sometimes overwhelming for students to decide what to choose as their major.

The MSU Undergraduate University Division aims to make that decision easier for students by offering the Marathon of Majors.  This event gives students the chance to ask questions in-person of academic advisors from all MSU colleges and academic support offices on topics such as exploring majors, major/college requirements, specializations, internship/career information, transfer credits, study abroad and tutoring, just to name a few.

Held in the MSU Union every November and March, with the most recent Marathon of Majors taking place on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, this event is a great opportunity for students to meet college and major advisors and learn about potential majors and academic support services.
