Are you interested in the environment, and the issues facing our ecosystem? Do you enjoy hands-on research with renowned scientists and researchers? How about the opportunity to spend a week at beautiful Gull Lake before you even reach MSU?

You will earn 2 academic credits, while studying at the beautiful Kellogg Biological Station, home to acres of breathtaking gardens, lakefront beaches, wildlife habitats, and plenty of places to explore. You will learn about and research current and ongoing projects such as:

• Rescuing endangered species from extinction: Case studies from the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary
• Restoring and preserving habitats: Wetlands, wildlands, and grasslands
• Invasions and Invasive species: What's come and what's coming?
• Biological control - does it work? What are the risks?
• Ecology and Agriculture - Can we develop systems that include both?
